Getting Around

Here’s everything you need to know about arriving in New York and getting to the wedding with ease.

  • We recommend flying into either JFK or Newark (EWR).

JFK is located in Queens, about 45 to 60 minutes from Manhattan. Newark is in New Jersey, typically 30 to 45 minutes away.

The easiest way into the city is by Uber or Lyft, with rides averaging $70 from JFK and $65 from Newark.

If you prefer public transit, both airports offer AirTrain service connecting to regional trains. From JFK, take the AirTrain to Jamaica Station, then transfer to the LIRR or E subway line. From Newark, take the AirTrain to Newark Liberty Station, then connect to NJ Transit or Amtrak into Penn Station.

When you land, use official taxi stands or rideshare apps. Avoid anyone offering rides inside the terminal — it’s a common scam.

  • New York is one of the world’s best walking cities — and often walking is the fastest way to get around.

For longer distances, the subway is the most efficient and affordable option. Each ride is $2.90, and you can tap in with Apple Pay, Google Pay, or a MetroCard.

Uber, Lyft, and yellow taxis are widely available, though prices can vary depending on traffic. Buses are a slower but scenic option, especially for short trips across town.

  • The ceremony and reception will take place at Tavern on the Green, located at 67th Street and Central Park West.

If you're using a rideshare app, simply enter “Tavern on the Green.” It’s the easiest way to get there.

If you prefer the subway, take the A, C, B, or D train to 59th Street–Columbus Circle, or the 1 train to 66th Street–Lincoln Center. From either stop, it’s a beautiful 5 to 7 minute walk through Central Park.

If you're driving, limited street parking is available. For nearby garages, we recommend Universal Parking at 201 West 70th Street or Icon Parking at 20 West 64th Street.
